ESTHER AS A CASE STUDY

 The story of Esther presents to us a young woman who had lost her parent at a tender age or even as a child and had to grow up under the supervision and care of her uncle Mordecai. Though she already had things falling apart, an orphan in a strange land. We see a young woman that did not allow her past or what she had lost to deprive her of the future well planned by God and her destiny. She maintained her stand as a Jew ( a child of God) then God sought for her for the deliverance of His people from their destroyer Haman.

EXCEPTIONAL QUALITIES OF ESTHER

1. She was a Jew (a child of God) Esther 2:2

2. She was a beautiful young virgin.

3. Esther was humble and obedient. Esther 2: 15 & 20

4. She was clothed with favor and grace by God. Esther 2:17

5. Esther had a heart for her people. Esther 4

6. Esther was a woman of prayer. Esther 4:15.

7. Esther was a selfless woman. Esther 4:16b

8. Esther was filled with the wisdom of God.

LESSON LEARNT FROM THE LIFE OF ESTHER

1. You must be a child of God indeed.

2. Always be courageous.

3. God is always at work behind the scenes.

4. God has placed us where we are for a reason.

5. Be watchful of those around you.

CONCLUSION

We all like Esther are master pieces in the hands of God, like a well sharpen arrow in the God's quiver to bring to pass His plans and will for our lives and deliverance to those around us like He did with Esther. So do not allow the words of man talk you out of God's great plan for us. In other words stand firm be courageous and let no man despise your youth.
